About
My journey into babywearing began shortly after I had my son in April 2024. Like many new parents, I was navigating big changes, in my body, my routines, and my sense of self, while learning how to care for a tiny new human. Babywearing quickly became a meaningful part of our everyday life. It offered closeness, practicality, and a sense of connection during a season that can feel both tender and overwhelming.
As I spent more time babywearing, I became increasingly aware of how confusing and inaccessible reliable information can be. With so many carrier options, conflicting advice online, and bodies that all move and feel differently, it’s easy to wonder whether you’re doing it “right,” or whether babywearing is even meant for you.
That curiosity, combined with my desire to support other caregivers, led me to pursue formal education through the Center for Babywearing Studies, where I completed certification training focused on evidence-based, inclusive, and body-aware babywearing education. My training emphasized safety, comfort, and adaptability, honoring that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wearing a baby.
Through Balanced Babywearing, I offer personalized support that meets caregivers where they are. My approach is calm, practical, and centered on helping you feel comfortable and confident in your own body and routines, while also supporting meaningful connection with your baby. Whether we’re adjusting a carrier, troubleshooting discomfort, or simply slowing down to practice together, my goal is to help babywearing feel like a supportive tool — one that fosters closeness and connection, not another thing to figure out on your own.
I work with caregivers at all stages, from those brand new to babywearing to families looking for small adjustments as their babies grow. In-person sessions are offered in Hoboken, NJ, with virtual consultations available for families beyond the area.
Babywearing became meaningful for me because of how it supported closeness during a season of change. Through my work, I hope to offer that same sense of support and connection to other families.
